Now, when I reviewed the game Bill & Coin before it was added to the Dream Drop Jackpot created by Relax Gaming, I was lost for words by how awful the game was. Now, the developer thought it best to resurrect the game and somehow look to enhance its gameplay abilities by sticking a jackpot feature on it. So, the question is, is Bill & Coin Dream Drop better than the regular Bill & Coin slot or is it a simple case of it being a polished turd rolled in glitter?
To find the most obvious of answers, I take on the newly revamped Bill & Coin Dream Drop game and for some unknown reason, likely stupidity, I play it with real money. This way, the review holds some resemblance of class. From this experience, you will get a full insight into the performance, settings, design, and special features.
If you would like to experience a foreboding sense of death by boredom, then you can play the game in its free-to-play demo mode. Should you like the game for insanity reasons, then you can use Casinos.com to help you locate the game and claim a sign-up bonus offering cash and/or free spins.
For those that haven’t seen or played the original Bill & Coin slot, what you get is a four-row, six-reel slot, with a 4,096 ways-to-win mechanism. You have the same snot-green coloring, with two characters Bill and Coin. Bill has a top hat and mustache, and Coin has a bow tie and a top hat.
The music that accompanies this game is both annoying and makes no sense, as it sounds better suited to Asian-themed slots. Either way, hit that mute button before playing, and take this as a health warning.
I’ve said it before, and I will say it again. The only good thing about this game is the fact you can pick your bonus round.
Betting prices for this game start at $0.20 per spin. The costs of playing rise to a max bet of $100. When you have selected your bet per spin cost, you can begin playing Bill & Coin Dream Drop by pressing the spin button. Now, ironically, the reels do not spin, as the slot comes with an avalanche feature, so simples drop into and fall off the rows and reels.
To win, you need three to six of the same symbols to land on the slot across adjacent reels. The more you have, the bigger the payout. When you hit a win, you will trigger the avalanche feature. The winning symbols fall off the reels, those above them drop down into the now-empty space, and new symbols also enter the game to fill the slot. What this process can do is create consecutive wins. Players getting more for their money in both game time and potentially in winnings.
This is the basic setup of play. You spin the reels or drop the symbols as the case would be, and hold out in the hope that the top symbols land in the right places. But there is more to this game, with special features and slot bonuses available.
Dream Drop Bonus: If you land the DD symbol, you unlock the bonus game. This takes you to the two Bonus Wheels. Each wheel comes with the same prize values, which can only be won if both wheels stop on the same prize. The jackpots are Mega, Major, Maxi, Midi, and Rapid. If both wheels land on Wild, you win a respin.
Bonus Pick: Land three bonus symbols and you will win the chance to pick one of three bonus games.
Super Bonus: Land two bonus symbols with one Super Bonus, and you unlock the choice to pick your Super Bonus game.
Coin Track: The round starts with four coins placed on the Coin Track that goes around the reels. With each spin played, the coins move one position clockwise. Each spin can bring about a modifier: Repsin, Collect, and Enhancer. The round ends once the first coin lands at the end of the track. The Super Bonus version comes with more modifiers in play.
Multiplier Ladder: The round opens with five free spins and a multiplier of x1. This multiplier increases with every win landed. The max you can reach is x500. You can win more free spins with every fifth bonus symbol you land. In the Super Bonus mode, you get eight free spins and higher multipliers.
Sure Win: This bonus game gives you five free spins that come with a Sure Win that will be between 0.2x and 50x the betting value. All other wins that drop join the Sure Win multiplier as well. You can win Extra spins with the Extra Spin symbol landing. The Super Bonus mode begins with eight free spins.
Win Multiplier: This feature can appear during any spin in the base game and the Sure Win bonus. With a win and any consecutive with thereafter, the amount you accumulate gets the multiplier value added that starts on x1 and increases with each win.
Bonus Buy: Buy access to the Super Bonus Picks for 110x your bet value. Or buy access to the standard Bonus Picks for 50x your bet value.
The Bill & Coin Dream Drop only comes with one new dynamic that the original Bill & Coin slot didn’t have, which is the Dream Drop Jackpot Bonus. Having been down this road before, I set my bet to the low amount of $0.80 per spin and played 50 spins.
The first win lands on spin two and pays out $2,80. Further wins come in four spins later, but the values are minimal. Consecutive wins land on spins ten, but amount to $1.10. Then my highest win so far, $6.40 comes in on spin thirteen.
Three bonus symbols land on spin twenty and of the options, I pick to play the Multiplier Ladder. The result of this bonus game returns a win of $17.76, thanks to reaching the multiplier ladder of x9.
I play a few more spins and decide to cash out early and take with me $13.36.
The Bill & Coin Dream Drop slot has a 94% RTP, which is typical for progressive jackpot slots online. The volatility setting is high. The max payout is 10,000 times the player’s bet. If you play $100 per spin, that’s a $1,000,000 max win. However, the jackpot can go up to $3,000,000, since it’s a Dream Drop game!
I’ve said it before, and I will say it again. The only good thing about this game is the fact you can pick your bonus round. Within the base game, nothing is happening, so you’re left hoping the bonus symbols drop.
There are better games in the market, so if like me you don’t feel this game, then I recommend you play:
Rogue Rats of Nitropolis by ELK Studios
Book of Dead by Play’n GO
More Unusual Suspects by Games Global
