PlayCroco is an offshore casino operating without a valid license. Not only that, but the online casino isn’t regulated by any gambling authority in the US, meaning it is unsafe for US players. It also doesn’t have the best track record among players, with many complaints online of its failure to payout, unfair games, and poor customer service.

I’ll uncover all this and more in this in-depth Play Croco Casino review. So, continue reading to see why you should swap out this casino for one of Casinos.com’s licensed and trusted operators instead.

Does PLay Croco Casino Have a License?

I have thoroughly vetted PlayCroco Casino from top to bottom and found nothing about a license or a licensing certificate, making me think it operates without one. If there’s one thing I cannot stress enough, it is that gambling at an unlicensed casino is a very bad idea. Without proper licensing, you potentially subject yourself to unethical gambling practices. Therefore, I suggest you steer well clear of Croco Casino and play at one of our recommended licensed casinos instead, such as BetMGM, PlayStar, or DraftKings.

As always, I advise you to choose a casino with full regulation and a provable license from a reputable state gambling authority, such as the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement or the Michigan Gaming Control Board. That way, you can be sure that a casino follows strict rules and regulations relating to game fairness and data protection measures.

Platform Usability

The PlayCroco websites are slow, glitchy, and in need of a serious update. Both of them. That's right, there are two, with entirely different URL structures, one where the casino calls itself PlayCroco, and the other Croco Casino. One site is even more minimal than the other, but they appear to be the same casino. Identity crisis aside, the graphics look like they’re a hundred years old, and every link is either broken or takes at least five minutes to load. If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it is that an unresponsive site can totally ruin your online casino gambling experience. So, if I were you, I wouldn’t waste a single breath (or dime) on this unresponsive site.

Deposit and Withdrawal Issues

PlayCroco Casino supports very few deposit options. Currently, you can only fund your accounts using a credit/debit card, CashtoCode, eZeeWallet, or crypto.

However, the options are even more limited than they appear. Any payment method that is linked to a US bank (like a credit or debit card) is unlikely to be successful as a deposit method. Let me explain. US banks are obligated to block transactions to suspicious recipients - like illegal offshore casinos. Due to regulations intended to curb fraud and money laundering, US banks cannot knowingly process a transaction to an offshore casino site.

There's another issue with the payment options on offer. The fact that the casino offers crypto payments is a big red flag and shows how the site fails to adhere to the US’ strict gambling laws. Currently, state regulators such as the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) do not allow licensed casinos to offer crypto payments due to the legal concerns surrounding digital currencies.

When it comes to withdrawals, your options are even more limited, with only Bitcoin, eZeeWallet, and Wire Transfers to pick from. Also, with high fees and high minimum withdrawal requirements attached to the last two methods, it is clear that the casino would prefer players to opt for Bitcoin. I’ve already mentioned my worries about this being offered, so I’ll say no more on this.

Unfortunately, when it comes to players ever actually receiving their winnings, things just go from bad to worse. The number of complaints I’ve read online about Croco’s failure to payout is a joke. The standard practice seems to drag out the process entirely by requiring unrealistic verification documents, taking weeks to payout, or never at all. I mean, what do you expect from an unregulated US casino site?

Customer Support Experience

With so many issues with Play Croco, you’ll likely need to contact the casino’s customer support team. Currently, you can reach out via live chat, email, or request a callback. Like always, when conducting this Croco casino review, I thoroughly tested each of the different support channels to see how they shaped up, and unfortunately, the results were not great.

To start with, the agents over live chat were very vague and never answered my queries properly. I was often left with even more questions than I had to start with! And don’t even get me started with email. Not only were most of my email queries ignored, but when they finally arrived (after more than 2 weeks of waiting), they lacked anything useful. I also wouldn’t waste your time requesting a call back either. I appealed multiple times and have yet to hear anything back.

Gaming Fairness Concerns at Croco

The games at Play Croco are supplied by Real Time Gaming, so if you’re looking for variety, you should play elsewhere. That said, this software provider is very respected in the industry and renowned for its high-quality games. However, because Croco is not licensed, I have worries that the casino is actually offering pirated copies of their games.

It is also worth mentioning that legitimate US online casinos will use certified Random Number Generators (RNGs) to ensure a fair gaming experience for players. However, there is no mention of Croco using RNG software or a seal of approval from a testing agency anywhere on the site.

Offering copied versions of games and manipulating game outcomes are two common tactics unsafe casino sites, like Croco, use to prevent players from ever taking home a win. There are also dozens of complaints online from players failing to win anything from CrocoCasino’s games. This is further proof that Croco Casino is not a fair gaming platform.

Community Feedback and Reputation

A big part of my casino review process involves reading what past players have to say on review forum sites like Trustpilot. If a casino has constant negative reviews, then this is a big sign that a site is up to no good. The fact that Croco Casino only has 1-star ratings on Trustpilot is all the evidence you need that this is not a good casino and should be avoided like the plague.

Most complaints about Play Croco involve its failure to payout winnings, its non-honouring of bonuses, and its poor customer service. To say that PlayCroco Casino is not portrayed in the best light would be an understatement. Based on past player reviews alone, you have all the reasons you need not to join Croco Casino.

Conclusion: Is Croco a Legit Casino?

Based on everything I found when writing this Croco Casino review, I cannot recommend Croco Casino to anyone. Not only is the casino unlicensed in the US, but it doesn’t seem to hold any gambling license at all. It also doesn’t have the best record when it comes to paying players their winnings, honoring bonus terms, and responding to players’ customer support queries.

Safe Gambling Guidelines

Your safety and security are my top priority, and I don’t want you to ever be caught out by a shady casino operator. That’s why I’ve made a handy checklist of things to consider to determine whether your chosen casino is legitimate. Here are some important criteria a casino should meet before you know it can be trusted.

  • Licensing: You should only play at online casinos that are licensed and regulated by a reputable gambling authority like the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE). That way, you know it must adhere to strict regulations regarding player safety and fair gaming.
  • Reputation: Before joining a new casino site, you should do some research. By reading player reviews, you will gain valuable insights into the reputability and legitimacy of a site.
  • Security: Reputable casino websites provide top safety and security features, including SSL encryption, ensuring the protection of your personal, private, and financial information from potentially harmful third parties.
  • Fair gaming: To ensure a fair gaming experience for players, legitimate casino sites will use certified Random Number Generators (RNGs) in their games to guarantee fair and unbiased outcomes. Check for certifications from independent testing agencies such as iTech Labs or eCOGRA to ensure your chosen site is operating fairly.
  • Customer Support: You should never be left waiting in the dark if you run into an issue at a casino site. No matter how big or small your problem is. That’s why you should only ever play at casinos that offer around-the-clock customer support via various channels.
