The Golden Gate Casino in downtown Las Vegas has been fully closed all week to give the property some much-needed love in the form of new carpeting across the entire gaming floor. The Golden Gate, which opened in 1906, is the oldest casino in Las Vegas.
The Fremont-Street destination will reopen for a Christmas party and new-floor unveiling on Saturday. And anyone dressed in holiday attire will get free drinks from 6 - 8 p.m.
