With the launch of its highly anticipated food hall, Caesars Palace will introduce a roster of celebrity chefs to the Las Vegas Strip.
Among the star-studded lineup, acclaimed New York chef Esther Choi will open a new location of her celebrated restaurant, Mokbar, at the Forum Food Hall this fall, featuring her distinctive Korean cuisine.
Following her impressive stint on "Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend," Choi will offer an enticing menu that includes favourites like pan-fried dumplings, buns, fried chicken, ramen, and rice bowls.
Highlights of the menu include bulgogi bowls, showcasing thinly sliced ribeye marinated in a Savory Korean barbecue sauce, accompanied by sautéed carrots, onions, kimchi, and a poached egg. For seafood lovers, the salmon avocado bowl will feature seared, marinated salmon paired with avocado, crispy tofu, mixed greens, cucumber, pickled daikon, and ginger scallion dressing.
In addition to delectable food options, Mokbar will have a selection of beverages, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic, including signature iced teas, sparkling soju cocktails, and a variety of beers to complement the dining experience.
Mokbar will occupy the space previously held by Tiger Wok & Ramen, as Caesars transitions from generic food court vendors to a vibrant collection of celebrity chef offerings. The move aligns with the current trend of upscale food halls in Las Vegas; however, Caesars has confirmed that its renowned Bacchanal buffet will remain an essential dining destination on the casino floor.
In addition to Mokbar, the new food hall will welcome Buddy V’s Pizzeria by Buddy Valastro—taking over the former DiFara Pizza space—and Tortazo by Rick Bayless, both of which are also set to debut later this year. Guests can look forward to an exciting and diverse culinary experience at the Forum Food Hall, where celebrity chefs reign supreme.
Most of my career was spent in teaching including at one of the UK’s top private schools. I left London in 2000 and set up home in Wales raising four beautiful children. I enrolled at University where I studied Photography and film and gained a Degree and subsequently a Masters Degree. In 2014 I helped launch a new local newspaper and managed to get front and back page as well as 6 filler pages on a weekly basis. I saw that journalism was changing and was a pioneer of hyperlocal news in Wales. In 2017 I started one of the first 24/7 free independent news sites for Wales. Having taken that to a successful business model I was keen for a new challenge. Joining the company is exciting for me especially as it is a new role in Europe. I am keen to establish myself and help others to do the same.
