Gambling.com Group Announces American Gambling Awards Winners

The eagerly awaited Gambling.com Group American Gambling Awards for 2024 have unveiled this year’s best online casino and other exceptional industry accomplishments

Determining the honourees was no small feat for the expert panel of judges, which comprised 20 industry veterans. The competition was intense, with over 50 finalists vying for top honours across 12 categories, including Online Sportsbook of the Year, Online Casino of the Year, and C-Suite Executive of the Year.

Winners Receive Coveted Gold Plated American Bald Eagle

Winners in each category will receive a striking 11-inch gold-plated, cast pewter sculpture of the American Bald Eagle, elegantly displayed atop a pile of casino chips.

Prestigious trophies are crafted by Society Awards, known for designing awards for the Emmys, American Music Awards, and the MTV Movie Awards.

CEO Looking Forward to Hosting Winners at Lavish Dinner

Charles Gillespie, the CEO and co-founder of Gambling.com Group, praised the innovation, dedication, and hard work present in the U.S. regulated online gambling industry. He pointed out that the 2024 finalists list was the largest in the awards’ history, with the first Golden Eagle awards having been introduced in 2019.

The Gambling.com Group, the producer of the American Gambling Awards, will celebrate the winners, judges, and invited guests at an exclusive VIP dinner held at Torrisi, a Michelin Star restaurant in New York City, on November 21.

Speaking to the audience, Gillespie remarked, "With American online gambling expanding rapidly and boasting more nominations than ever before, we are excited to host our annual celebration in a new venue.”

Most of my career was spent in teaching including at one of the UK’s top private schools. I left London in 2000 and set up home in Wales raising four beautiful children. I enrolled at University where I studied Photography and film and gained a Degree and subsequently a Masters Degree. In 2014 I helped launch a new local newspaper and managed to get front and back page as well as 6 filler pages on a weekly basis. I saw that journalism was changing and was a pioneer of hyperlocal news in Wales. In 2017 I started one of the first 24/7 free independent news sites for Wales. Having taken that to a successful business model I was keen for a new challenge. Joining the company is exciting for me especially as it is a new role in Europe. I am keen to establish myself and help others to do the same.
