House of the Dragon Slot Premieres in Vegas with Series Star Steve Toussaint

As if Aristocrat haven’t already got enough remarkably successful Dragon themed slots, here comes another.

This one, though, features not just any dragons, but celebrity dragons from the hugely popular Emmy-award winning HBO Series, House of the Dragon.

Dragon Slot Sequel

The all-new House of the Dragon Slot premiered last Friday at Wynn Las Vegas with the help of one of the actors who stars in the hit TV series.

Steve Toussaint, who plays Lord Corlys Velaryon, aka “The Sea Snake,” joined casino players at Wynn to try out the new game which takes players on a high-definition immersive adventure through Westeros via Aristocrat’s new King Max cabinet.

The game includes action clips, sounds and graphics from the series plus recognisable icons and characters including the Sea Snake himself.

Not only that, but in an industry first, House of the Dragon is the first slot game with five overlapping metamorphic features in the shape of colored dragon eggs. Each egg has a distinct feature -- Mega Prize, Boost Prize, Double All, Award All and Instant Win – and they can trigger individually, in multiples, or all at once for maximum win potential.

“This is a thrilling world premiere of a groundbreaking and exciting new game,” Aristocrat Gaming Chief Revenue Officer Kurt Gissane said. “We’re delighted Steve Toussaint was here to celebrate and elevate the fanfare around the game.”

Game of Thrones Slot Success

The House of the Dragon Slot builds on the success of the hugely popular Game of Thrones slot series. That particular franchise was first introduced back in 2014, and in 2015 it won Slot Product of the Year at the GGB Gaming and Technology Awards. 

The game would go on to win Slot of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards in 2018, leaving a high bar for the sequel to pass. 

Both House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones games are part of the premium licensed game portfolio by Aristocrat Gaming in partnership with Warner Bros. Previous games have included Crazy Rich Asians, Mad Max: Fury Road, Westworld and The Big Bang Theory.

You can currently only find the House of the Dragon Slot at Wynn Casino in Las Vegas, however, it won’t be long until it's rolled out more widely.
