Las Vegas Casino Concert Scene Serves Up Valentine’s Day Romance

Valentine’s Day is here and Las Vegas is pulling out all the stops to ensure that you and that special someone have multiple romantic activities to choose from. From the start of a couple of major residencies to some one-off dates, the Sin City music venues have compiled a roster of performers that offer something for everyone. The only question? Just how deep do you want to dive into the wallet for your entertainment pleasure?

Babyface Brings Nineties Romance to The Palms

Producer/performer Babyface will kick off his Valentine’s Day Weekend with the first of two shows on Friday night. The Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Las Vegas will host the twelve-time Grammy-winning artist (also known as Kenny Edmonds) on their stage, with tickets ranging from $246 (on the floor) to $93 (balcony level) through Ticketmaster. It is a chance to see the Nineties R&B legend, who earned his nickname through legendary Parliament/Funkadelic bassist “Bootsy” Collins and wrote such classics as “I’m Your Baby Tonight” (Whitney Houston) and Boys II Men’s 1992 slow jam “End of the Road.”

A double bill will be available for Valentine’s lovebirds at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan. It will be a chance for folks to laugh and enjoy some romantic music as comedian Cedric the Entertainer and R&B songbird Toni Braxton step onto the stage at 8 PM on Friday and Saturday nights. If you want to be on the floor, Ticketmaster is offering seats for $136, with seats a bit further from the stage offered at $118.

Waiting until Saturday night to take the stage is singer Warren G, who will hit the Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas for a one-night-only soiree. The SRO (Standing Room Only) show is offering tickets at $50.40 for people to enjoy one of the first hip-hop artists to break out from the Nineties scene. Most people will remember Warren G for his work with Nate Dogg on “Regulate” from 1994, but he also offers a time capsule of the “West Coast” hip-hop stylings from the Nineties that have become legendary in the music industry.

Two Major Residencies Begin their Performance Run

Las Vegas has become noted for the excellence of the long-term concert schedules that they have offered to visitors. These residencies often bring in thousands of fans (and millions in revenue) as the people come to the performers rather than the other way around. Two of these residencies will mark their start dates on Valentine’s Day Weekend.

Two-time Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year Keith Urban will have five dates of his “Keith Urban’s HIGH in Vegas” residency at the BleauLive Theater at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. These five dates, starting on Valentine’s Night and playing on Saturday (February 15), February 19 (Wednesday), February 21 (Friday), and February 22, will be the conclusion of the ten-date residency that Urban began in October 2024. Urban is offering special VIP Hotel and Concert perks through a Vibee offering, while Ticketmaster brings balcony seats starting at $205 and floor seats going for $414 and up (a special pit area that is SRO is offered in front of the stage for $300).

SPHERE has become one of THE venues to visit when in Las Vegas, and this Valentine’s Day Weekend is no different. Sphere is welcoming back Rock & Roll Hall of Famers The Eagles to the stage, with four dates set in February for the continuation of their residency. On February 14-15 and February 21-22, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and the remainder of the groundbreaking rock act will put SPHERE through its paces, adding another unique chapter to the young history of its existence. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster starting at $127.50 and ranging up to $318.50, but it will be difficult to find these; resale tickets are going from $775 and up on those markets.

It is the city that will become whatever it needs to provide for its customers! This weekend, Las Vegas will become the City of Love, with something for anyone who is looking to celebrate.
