Washington is one of the premier destinations of tribal casinos in the US, with 22 tribes operating 28 facilities, and a total of 34 overall in the state. And it's not just casinos in Washington either, there are a plethora of card rooms and bingo halls also scattered around Washington.
And while online casino sites aren't available yet in the Evergreen State, the thriving casino destination industry is accountable for over 56,000 jobs. Casino hotels in Washington bring in around $1.68 billion a year as of 2023. That's billion, with a b. The net gambling receipts for 2023 were even higher at $3.8 billion. Not a bad chunk of change.

So, with plenty of land-based gambling opportunities, we wondered where exactly the luckiest place to hit the casino floor was. We measured 15 of the most popular casinos in the state to find out which is the luckiest casino, and in turn, which is the unluckiest out of the following;
To do this, our research and analytics teams scraped review data on each of the casinos listed above related to luck-related keywords. So, for example, reviews that had one instance of "lucky", "won", "winning", "success" and other terms that could signal some big wins.
Unfortunately, if we had this exact answer, we'd be there ourselves and not currently be writing this article. How casino games work is essentially the same in every establishment, with slight rule variations such as slot volatilities or house rules in blackjack. Our data concentrated on real-life reviews of people who had stepped foot in each casino, and played there with real money. So this does not include anybody who used free sc coins.
And so, without further adieu, we can reveal that the ilani Casino with an astonishing luck rate of 50.95%, reigns supreme as Washington's luckiest casino.
As well as the most references to "jackpot" and "won", the Cowlitz Indian Tribe-owned establishment has healthy mentions of all terms, notably "lucky" and "bonus".
However, there is a slight caveat here as the casino actually had the second-lowest percentage of four and five-star reviews.
Next in line was the Nisqually Red Wind Casino and Legends Casino Hotel, with healthy luck-based keyword percentages of 31.73% and 28.9%.
Well, as we've mentioned before, reviews don't correlate exactly to luck. However, based on the data, the Point Casino in Kingston will hold the unfortunate label of the "unluckiest" casino in Washington for the time being.
With just 14.39% of reviews mentioning luck-related keywords, it came in some 35% below the top spot.
The Little Creek Casino (16.98%) and 7 Cedars Casino (17.02%) also didn't perform as they would have desired in the study.
However, for 7 Cedars, it should be noted they had the second highest percent of four and five-star reviews at 72.34% - so while your luck might not be in, you're a pretty safe bet to enjoy your visit.
