The Cleanest Casinos in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is renowned for its vibrant nightlife and bustling casinos, but cleanliness is a critical factor for visitors. Between the Casinos.com team, we must have been to Vegas more than a dozen times, and we’ve never seen a rat. What we have seen is the streets being swept and power-washed in the early hours of the morning, and a surprisingly small amount of litter on the streets.

That’s all good and well, of course, but clean streets don’t necessarily equate to clean sheets, and there was in fact a bed bug outbreak as recently as 2023, so we went in search of the cleanest (and by default, dirtiest) casinos in Sin City, based on extensive Tripadvisor reviews.

While we’d have loved to have stayed at every single casino in Vegas so that we could inspect them all for stains on the bedding and unexplained marks in the toilets (maybe we can get the budget in the next financial year), seeing that wasn’t possible, we got ourselves involved in a bit of a reversed search.

We checked reviews for the below hotels and looked for keywords like "stained," "messy," and “filthy” to give you an accurate representation of how clean each casino is. The fewer dirty-related keywords, the cleaner the place!

From spotless lobbies to pristine rooms, here are the casinos we checked for hygiene:

  • Rio Hotel & Casino
  • Bellagio Las Vegas
  • The Venetian Resort
  • Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino
  • Treasure Island - TI Hotel & Casino, a Radisson Hotel

Cleanest Casinos in Las Vegas listed

Wynn leads the pack with a remarkable cleanliness score. Only 4.26% of reviews mentioned cleanliness issues, with just seven reviews citing "unclean" conditions and two mentioning "unhygienic" practices.

One review noted, “An amazing hotel, probably the best on the Las Vegas strip! Rooms are stunning and the whole hotel is spotlessly clean, staff are also very helpful. Felt very safe here as a solo traveller and would 100% stay here again! Great facilities too, lots of options for eating/drinking."

It seems the overall feedback praises the Wynn's spotless environment. Another one praised the bedding: “Our bed was dreamy with top notch crisp and fresh smelling linens with both soft and firm pillows to choose from. The overall condition of our suite was flawless.”

Right behind Wynn is its sibling, the Encore. Scoring 4.60%, it maintains high standards of cleanliness

One review highlighted, “The Encore is always Top Notch! Clean rooms, great ambience, very good restaurant selections.”

Although there were 30 mentions of the word “messy,” the majority of reviews celebrate the Encore's immaculate conditions.

With 6.00% of reviews mentioning cleanliness issues, The Venetian is another top contender for cleanliness. “Attended a conference. Excellent all around! Staff was courteous, everything appeared to be clean and in a good state of repair.” Visitors often highlight the well-maintained rooms and public areas, praising the resort for its commitment to hygiene.

Following closely is The Palazzo, also part of The Venetian complex, with a 7.09% cleanliness score. Reviews often commend the luxurious and clean environment, making it a preferred choice for discerning travelers.

Aria Resort & Casino scores 7.19% on the cleanliness scale. Known for its modern design, this casino receives high marks for its spotless rooms and facilities.

Top 5 Cleanest Casinos in Las Vegas

With the unenviable position of being last on our list of the cleanest casinos, Circus Circus scored 18.58% on our scale, with 1,000 people mentioning the word “dirty.” However, it's not all negative. Some guests had positive experiences, like one who shared, “The hotel and casino are older, but clean. We didn't spend much time in our room but it definitely did the job of giving us a place to sleep and shower. Circus Circus is not fancy, but it's good.”

Ranking next among the not-so-clean casinos, The Plaza also made it high on our list of noisiest casinos in Vegas. Yet, not all feedback is negative. One guest noted, “We really enjoyed our stay at Plaza. Check in was quick, early check in was available at no charge for us; the room was very clean, and fresh.”

Well, not everyone’s standards of cleanliness are the same. While some guests have had less-than-ideal experiences, others have found these casinos to meet their needs adequately so who are we to judge?
