The Fortune Mouse slot by PG Soft continues with the same layout as all preceding games in this slot series. You have the Asian style music and you the oriental design. You get a 3-row, 3-reel layout that comes with five winning paylines. Below the game's reels, you have the Fortune Mouse character that holds a fortune cookie. The purpose of this all ties in with the Fortune Mouse feature, but more on this later in the review.

To play Fortune Mouse, one must first assume the position of interest. First, place your right hand under your chin and cradle it between your finger and thumb. Now, keep this position for approximately three seconds. Now, during this time, give off a thoughtful look. After this, you will release the chin, move your hand away, and click your fingers, leaving the index finger pointing up. This finger confirms that you have decided to play Fortune Mouse for real money or just as a free demo game.

Next, select the value you would like to place as your bet, remembering this is what you pay per spin. To choose your bet, you can either use the + or – buttons on either side of the spin button, or you can click, tap, press, caress, or use your nose to select the coin stack icon. Fortune Mouse Feature: This feature will trigger at random points in play. During a spin, you can land three stacked wild symbols in the central reel. When this happens, reel 1 and reel 3 will continue to spin until there is a win.

Past games from this series have yielded quite a bit of success. So, I was looking forward to what I could potentially win while playing Fortune Mouse for real money. For this game, given there is no core bonus round, I decided to only play with my bets at $1 per spin and use the autoplay mode to play 50 auto-spins.

It took seven spins for the first win, which was $0.60. After this, I found that the game did not cooperate with my desire for greed and fortune. The next win came some ten spins after the previous win, which was $3. This was a common pattern throughout the fifty spins I played—long periods of nothing and then a pathetic win. I have to say that of all the slots in the Fortune series, this was by far the worst one. The wins that came in from the last round of my spins were minimal and I ended with my balance so far off from where it began.

I was then off to buy some cheese and several mouse traps in retribution.

The Fortune Mouse slot by PG Soft is built with a medium volatility performance setting and comes with a 96.96% Return to Player rating. The maximum payout of this game is 1,000 times the bet value. If gambling at $45 per spin, you will be playing for a jackpot of $45,000.

The Fortune Mouse game is dire and I’m talking, like, so bad that I would rather walk into busy traffic. It’s poor on every level, and to have only a $45,000 jackpot is frankly embarrassing. There is nothing positive I can offer about this game, which is a shame. The other games in the series, though basic in what they offer, do perform better and have greater value for money.
